Styling Part 3

Styling is the last of my stick to the basic series and is usually the last step in any hair care routine.Although last, it is certainly not least, because even though styling might not seem to be a direct contributor to healthy hair; I can assure you, that its impact may even be greater than you think!

In fact, although styling might not seem to be a direct contributor to healthy hair; I can assure you, that its impact may even be greater than you think!

How Styling Diminishes the State of Hair

Improper styling methods or practices, the incorrect use of styling products and even the usage of products with harmful ingredients will eventually deteriorate the health of your hair. Then there are the products, that for whatever reason just don’t agree with your hair and as a result, I  have experienced my fair share of wash and go and twist out flops.

None the less, the truth behind it all is that we not only want our hair to be or feel healthy but we definitely want it to look healthy!

Simple & Effective Styling Products

I have two basic solutions, one of which is quite popular and you might have heard about it and the other not so much.

Eco Styler Gel
This is a very affordable yet extremely effective solution. It gets the job done without costing you much

Flaxseed Gel (DIY)

Boiled Flax seeds make an incredibly natural hair gel (styler). Other ingredients can also be added to provide other benefits to the gel. There are lots of information on Youtube to assist you in making this one if you want to try it. Its natural beneficial and effective!

Remember, styling your natural hair is the part that gives you the opportunity to show off your hair in the most creative and expressive way. Styling is the fun part so have fun with it! But, wait, before you go spending and sampling expensive products, I suggest you explore the basics.
